At Stable Art all our frames are made in-house and so you can be confident there will always a comprehensive stock in all styles and colours available for you. With our knowledge and expertise we can help you choose colours and moulding styles to help you get the very best framing possible to suit your pictures and your home at the most reasonable price.
All components are also available separately for you to buy, or we can assemble them professionally for you for around an extra £6 per picture. Depending on how busy the workshops are, we may even offer to do it while you wait!
Our bespoke framing service is always available to make up those odd sizes, special mouldings and individual orders such as material pieces, medal cases, football shirts, mirrors etc. We have a vast range of mouldings available and are happy to give you a quote over the phone or by email. We are also happy to stretch canvases on narrow or box stretchers.

We offer an extensive range of deep frames and cases for mounting and displaying your most treasured pieces. From Grandad’s war medals to signed football shirts, we have a vast array of frame styles, colours and designs to protect and enhance your item. It all starts with your idea so bring in your baby’s first shoes or tickets and tour memorabilia from your favourite concert and we will help you create something wonderful that will be cherished forever.
Personalised presents are special and never go out of date. What do you get for Mum and Dad’s anniversary? Granny’s 90th Birthday? Or your best friend’s wedding? A collection of their memories, old photographs or a record from the year they were born can be turned into beautiful gifts they can treasure – come and see us with your ideas and we’ll work with you to create something truly special and unique.
Our quality is high but our prices are definitely not! A standard football shirt, stretched and framed will start at £80. We will always quote you first so there are no surprises when you come to collect your order!
Trade Picture Framing
At Stable Art we pride ourselves on supplying good quality framing at affordable and highly competitive prices to our trade customers.
We are able to handle large orders with very quick turn-around times making us a useful resource for professional artists, galleries and shops. We can supply as frame only, in bespoke or standard sizes and with or without mounts, for you to assemble yourself or completely finished with your artwork in place and ready for re-sale. For camera clubs and artists wishing to present their work in mounted only format, we can supply the mounts, backing cards and poly bags either assembled or as components with discounts for bulk orders.
If you require something ‘special’ we hold over 100 different mouldings for you to choose from and we can get most styles within two working days. Orders can be placed over the phone or by email if you can’t get in to see us. Delivery by carrier can be organised worldwide.
